The Everett Cultural Arts Commission was established in 1974 to initiate, sponsor, organize and promote cultural and artistic programs and events for the enrichment and enjoyment of the Everett community.
Who we are The commission is a citizen advisory body composed of eleven volunteers who have expertise or interest in the arts. Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and serve a six-year term.
What we do The commission: • Proposes and develops City cultural/arts policies. • Is the reviewing body for public financial assistance to arts and cultural organizations and events. • Is responsible for the care and maintenance of the City's public art collection. • Serves as a cultural/arts information and resource center.
